Yes, we need access to the pool equipment.
What We Need to See
- Pump
- Filter
- Valves
- Heater if present
- Salt system if present
- Automation if present
- Visible plumbing, unions, and fittings
- Any leaks or air issues around the system
Equipment access matters because some leaks only show up when the pump is running. Others are easier to understand when the pump is off. We may need to turn the system on and off, change valve positions, isolate lines, pressure test plumbing, or observe how the pool and spa behave under different conditions.
What Blocks the Inspection
If the equipment is locked behind a gate, blocked by storage, hidden by landscaping, or unsafe to access, the inspection can be limited. If the electrical panel or pool controls are inside the garage or house, someone may need to provide access.
Before we arrive, please make sure the equipment area is clear enough for us to work safely. We do not need it spotless, but we do need room to see, test, and move around without fighting through clutter.
