Will You Go Underwater to Check the Pool?

Yes. We dive every pool when conditions allow. Here is why that matters.

Yes. We dive every pool when conditions allow it.

There are many pool leak companies that do not get in the pool. We are different. At Leak and Subsurface Locators, we believe diving the pool is the only true way to find every active and potential leak that can be found during the inspection.

What Can Only Be Seen Underwater

Some safety concerns, like the condition inside a pool light niche, also cannot be properly observed from above the water line.

When We Do Not Dive

There are exceptions. We will not dive during unsafe weather such as lightning storms or other extreme conditions. We also will not go in if the water chemistry is unsafe for the technician.

We understand that when a pool is leaking badly, keeping the chemistry right can be difficult. We try our best to work with the pool in the condition it is in when possible. But safety still matters. If the water is unsafe, cloudy, green, or too chemically harsh, the inspection may be limited or may need to be rescheduled.
