Professional leak detection is designed to be as non-invasive as possible.
Most of what we do involves inspection, dye testing, underwater checking, equipment evaluation, pressure testing, listening equipment, and trace gas when needed. These methods are used to narrow down the leak without tearing up the pool or deck just to guess.
What We Do Not Do During Leak Detection
- Cut concrete
- Remove pavers
- Drill holes
- Open the deck
These are not part of a standard leak detection visit unless that is a separate approved repair scope. Leak detection is about finding the problem first so the repair can be planned correctly.
What Normal Handling Looks Like
There is always some practical handling involved. We may remove skimmer baskets, inspect lights, plug lines, adjust valves, pressure test plumbing, move around the pool, and work at the equipment pad. That is normal. But the goal is not to damage anything. The goal is to protect the customer from unnecessary digging or unnecessary repair work.
If a repair is needed, we explain that separately. Finding a leak and repairing a leak are not always the same step.
