A Complete-System Process
The difference is the process. We look at the pool as a complete system. We evaluate the water loss, pool shell, skimmer, light, fittings, drains, plumbing, equipment, and how the pool behaves with different systems on and off. We do not just walk around with dye and hope the leak shows itself.
A Teaching Background That Shapes the Fieldwork
Jeff also teaches pool leak detection through Leak Business Academy and wrote a practical field manual on pool leak detection. That teaching background matters because the same step-by-step thinking used to train others is used in the field at Leak and Subsurface Locators.
Equipment Most Companies Do Not Have
LSL also uses trace gas testing when the situation calls for it. We are one of the few pool leak detection companies in the area using this type of technology. Difficult underground leaks sometimes require more than one method, and the right tool matters.
Who Represents the Company
We are also selective about who represents the company. Outside hires go through background checks before being hired, and we are picky about who we bring into the business.
