What Does the Pool Leak Detection Guarantee Cover?

When we confirm a leak location - with documented evidence, photos, and a written report - we stand behind that finding for 30 days. If the repair is completed at the confirmed location within that window and a concern arises about the accuracy of the finding, we address it.

The guarantee covers our detection findings - not the repair itself, and not the entire pool. Pools can have more than one leak, and one active leak can sometimes hide another. A pool can also develop a new leak after the inspection that was not present or identifiable during the evaluation. Those situations are not covered under the 30-day finding guarantee because they are separate issues.

For the guarantee to apply, any known leak that was found must be repaired before a no-charge recheck is performed. If the confirmed leak has not been repaired, it can mask other areas of the pool and make a valid evaluation of the rest of the system more difficult.

There are also situations where the guarantee is limited by the conditions of the inspection. If the water was too low to evaluate certain areas, the pool was too cloudy for underwater work, water chemistry was unsafe, access was blocked, or portions of the pool could not be tested, those untested areas are documented as limitations in the report and are not covered under the guarantee.

Some leaks are genuinely difficult. Pebble finish pools, older pools with multiple past repairs, complex waterproofing conditions, and pools with unusual construction can present challenges for any leak detection company. When limitations exist, we explain them clearly in the written report.
