Detection and Repair Are Two Separate Services
This question comes up often because some companies offer combined detection-and-repair packages where the detection fee is rolled into the repair price. That model works when the same company does both.
Leak and Subsurface Locators focuses specifically on leak detection and location. We find the leak, document it with photos and a written report, and provide findings you can take to your pool contractor or repair company of choice. We do not perform the structural or plumbing repairs.
Because we do not do the repair, there is no repair invoice to apply the detection fee against. What you receive is an accurate, documented finding - which is exactly what makes the repair possible. Without knowing precisely where the leak is and what is causing it, a repair company is guessing. Our job is to eliminate the guessing.
Some homeowners find that the detection finding actually saves them money on the repair side - because the repair contractor knows exactly where to go and what to fix, rather than opening multiple areas to find the problem.
