Repair pricing depends on what is actually leaking and how accessible it is. A pool pipe leak, skimmer leak, and pool light leak can all sound simple, but they can be very different once we test the pool.
Pipe Leak
Can range from a small accessible repair to a much larger job if the line is under pavers, concrete, or landscaping.
Skimmer Leak
Some are a simple epoxy patch. Others involve the throat, body, pipe connection, or tile line and need a rebuild.
Light Leak
May be a small conduit seal, or a larger repair if the niche, conduit, or surrounding finish is damaged.
Why We Do Not Quote Repairs Sight Unseen
A leaking pool pipe usually starts with finding and confirming the line that is leaking. If the pipe repair requires cutting deck, digging, exposing plumbing, and reconnecting the line, the cost can vary a lot.
A skimmer leak can also vary. Some skimmer leaks are small and can be temporarily patched with epoxy. Other skimmer leaks involve the skimmer throat, body, pipe connection, tile line, or the area where the skimmer meets the pool wall.
A leak around a pool light may be a small conduit or niche leak that can sometimes be temporarily sealed. But if the niche is damaged, the conduit is bad, the light is unsafe, or the pool finish around the light is failing, that becomes a different repair.
We can usually give a rough direction over the phone with pictures, but we do not like giving firm repair pricing until we know what is leaking. Leak detection comes first.
Once we know the source, LSL can provide a repair estimate when possible and within our scope. If it is outside our scope, we will recommend trusted professionals who can do the work properly.
