Do You Schedule Pool Leak Detection Around Residents and Guests?

Yes. Here is how we coordinate with property managers and boards.

Yes. When we work with HOAs, condos, hotels, communities, and commercial pools, scheduling matters.

Community and commercial pools are different from backyard pools because residents, guests, staff, pool service companies, managers, and board members may all be involved. We try to coordinate with the property manager, pool service company, board contact, or maintenance staff so the inspection causes as little disruption as possible.

Most of the time, we try to schedule during lower-use times. For many communities, that usually means morning. Every association is different, though. Some pools are busy early. Some are busy later in the day. The schedule depends on the bathing patterns of that property.

After-Hours Scheduling

If the pool needs to be evaluated outside normal working hours, an additional fee may apply.

Leak investigation during dark hours is much more difficult. It usually takes more time, requires more work, and may limit the certainty of the evaluation because visibility matters when inspecting a pool, fittings, tile, lights, drains, and finish conditions.

What We Need Before the Visit

Documentation for Boards and Managers

For HOA and commercial properties, documentation is important. Leak and Subsurface Locators can provide findings, photos, and a clear explanation that a manager or board can review.
