Yes. Pressure testing pool plumbing lines is a standard part of the LSL evaluation when a plumbing leak is suspected.
Lines are isolated using plugs at both ends or at accessible points, then pressurized with air or water. Both are Florida code-compliant methods -- the differentiator between a thorough inspection and a poor one is whether the company pressurizes the lines at all, not which medium they use.
LSL uses a custom-built pressure manifold considered among the best in the industry. It allows multiple lines to be tested and isolated individually so the specific failing line can be identified, not just confirmed that a problem exists somewhere in the system.
Pressure testing is done from multiple positions and each line is run multiple times before a result is declared. Not always from the equipment pad -- the technician tests from wherever access and conditions allow for the most accurate reading.
