Most of the time, we only need access to the backyard, pool, spa, equipment pad, and any gates or side yards needed to reach the work area.
There are times when inside access may be helpful or necessary. The most common reason is the electrical panel. If equipment needs to be safely shut down and the breaker is inside the garage or house, we may need access to that area. Sometimes automation controls, pool equipment controls, or other related systems are also inside or in a garage.

- Where the electrical panel is located
- Whether the gate is unlocked
- Whether there are pets in the yard

For real estate inspections, rentals, HOAs, and vacant homes, access is very important. If we cannot access the equipment, pool area, or controls, the evaluation may be limited.
