Attached Spa vs. Separate Spa System
The answer depends on how your spa is set up.
An attached spa that shares plumbing and equipment with the pool is evaluated as part of the same service. The technician is already in the water, already testing the connected plumbing. The spa fittings, jets, and shell are all part of the same systematic evaluation - there is no reason to price them separately.
A freestanding spa with its own dedicated equipment pad and independent plumbing system is a different job. It has its own lines, its own fittings, and its own potential failure points. In that case, we provide a separate estimate and can schedule both together or on separate visits depending on what works for you.
If you are not sure which type of setup you have, describe your pool and spa when you call and we will help you figure it out before scheduling.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my spa is attached but loses water separately from the pool?
That is still evaluated as part of the same job. An attached spa that loses water independently is exactly the type of scenario our systematic evaluation is designed to work through - testing the spa circuit separately while evaluating the full connected system.
Do you test spa jets and fittings during the evaluation?
Yes. Spa jets, returns, fittings, and the shell are all included in the underwater evaluation for an attached spa. If a fitting or jet is accessible and testable, it gets tested.
