Do I Need to Be Home for Pool Leak Detection?

Most of the time, no. Here is what access we actually need.

Most of the time, you do not need to be home the entire time, as long as we have proper access.

We need access to the backyard, pool, spa, equipment pad, gates, and any controls needed to operate the system. If the gate is locked, the equipment is inaccessible, dogs are in the yard, or we cannot reach the pool controls, the inspection may be limited or delayed.

When Being There Helps

It is better for the homeowner to be there, at least at the beginning, when the pool has unusual equipment, automation, a hidden electrical panel, a complicated spa setup, or a specific issue the customer wants to show us. Being there helps.

When Inside Access Is Needed

Sometimes we may need access inside the house or garage, usually for the electrical panel, pool automation, or equipment controls. If that is the case, someone needs to provide access.

When You Cannot Be There

If the customer cannot be there, we can still often do the work if everything is unlocked and arranged ahead of time. Communication matters. We want to know what you are seeing before we start testing.
