It depends on where you are in the process.
If the pool is losing water and you do not know why, call a leak detection company first. You need to know where the water is going before you decide who should repair it.
If the leak is in the skimmer, light, fitting, equipment, or plumbing, the repair path may be different than if the pool shell or finish is leaking. If the pool has major movement, structural cracking, lifted areas, or serious shell concerns, then a builder, engineer, resurfacing company, or other repair professional may need to be involved.
When to Call a Pool Builder
A pool builder may be the right person to rebuild, remodel, resurface, or repair major structural issues. But if the question is "where is the pool leaking," that is leak detection first.
