Yes. A spa that drains down overnight or loses water after the pump shuts off is a specific and testable symptom.
When a spa drains down, the water often goes somewhere -- either into the pool through a failed check valve, bond beam crack, or spillover seal, or out of the system through a plumbing failure in the spa circulation lines. LSL evaluates the spa separately from the main pool to isolate where the water is going.
What We Look At
- Check valve condition -- if it fails, the spa drains back into the pool when the pump stops
- Bond beam at the spillover for cracks or separation
- Spa plumbing lines isolated and pressure tested
- Spa light niche and fittings underwater
- Water level behavior with pump on and pump off
Isolating the spa from the pool during testing is an important part of the process. It helps confirm whether the problem is in the spa itself or in the shared plumbing between the two bodies of water.
